 | reply to Dersgniw Nice poll. Thanks!
I voted for the only such app I've tried/used, TeamViewer .. which works well.
Now, I've even more choices to try. -- Eagles may soar .. but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines. |

Easy to set up and use. Made life MUCH easier in trying to resolve my 89-year old mother's computer problems. |

I used to do this until logmein bought Hamachi. then i switched to logmeinfree. It just made life simpler. I had 335 machines on a Free account.
Now at a different company we use logmein rescue, but I sometimes switch to crossloop when the logmein licenses are all in use. I still use logmein free for Friends and Family. -- "The Habeas Corpus secures every man here, alien or citizen, against everything which is not law, whatever shape it may assume." --Thomas Jefferson to A. petrus join:2002-01-09 Atlanta, GA 1 edit | reply to Dersgniw I have mainly used LogMeIn free and it has worked quite well for me. I have been giving TeamViewer a test drive and I am very impressed with it. It has some features not found in LogMeIn free such as file transfer and I can even reboot the remote computer into safe mode, which is great when troubleshooting and cleaning a remote computer.
This is a great poll and as someone else mentioned, this is a great list and I plan to check out some of the others including Crossloop, but I will be surprised if any are better than Teamviewer.
PS: I have also used Radmin locally on my home network for years and have been very happy with it. |
