Re: industry evolution.. Very true except that new models will always carry a hefty price tag, no matter how cheap they become in a year.
On the pricing it was always just the question of WHEN - Europe abandoned this DISGUSTING AMERICAN RIPOFF PRACTICE of charging both ways regardless of who calls whom and they have a MUCH BIGGER and FAR MORE ADVANCED cellular market.
It's about time to end AT&T's, VZ's etc market abuse.
