Essentially there are 'three' options
1. ADSL You'll need a BT land line as we call them here into your abode. Off the back of that, you can 'piggy back' to Any ISP who offers services you desire. You pay BT a monthly rental (includes POTS voice) and the ISP 2. Cable - only one provider - Virgin Media (luv em h8 em) look in the street for a little square cover - this and there post code service will let you know if it's an option. You can then select the services you want. No need for a BT land line etc. 3. This is the tough one. You get a BT land line (as 1 above) but this time, you select an ISP for a bundle of services and you pay them for everything. |
