How to access an SB5101 modem?

Is there any way to access the 192.168.100.1 page when my modem is not synced? I need to try to do the "restore to factory defaults" but I can't access the modem.

Would it matter if I'm connected directly to the modem or not?

Some routers block you from doing that..
So if you can't access it... Try to direct connect to your computer.
