Dear User,

You should build a pfSense box...»www.pfsense.org/ do it yourself, why do you need comcast? Click on the link or copy and paste it and read up on it. Here is a link with screen shots »www.pfsense.org/screenshots/
No offense, but this is PC based? i.e. not a router firmware?
What good it this? How does it help those with TiVos, Xboxes, iPods, etc? It seems the meter is getting close, anyway.

pfSense is a *nix based router/firewall similar to monowall or smoothwall. It's not an embedded firmware like a typical router that you would buy from Linksys or DLink, but it's not an application either that you run under windows. Often people install it on an old PC although I suppose you probably could run it under a virtual machine. There are also several hardware appliances that are essesntially embedded computers that are capable of running pfSense (or other *nix based firewalls).
