I learned my lesson.. no black screens but my PC would always shut down on it's own.. after testing I found out it was the PS.. it could hardly put out 10 A on the 12V+ line :-/<br><br>I went back to the trusty 5 year old Antec until I get a better one.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/520600"><b>signmeuptoo</b></A> : MANMAN222:<br><br>Power supplies are ALWAYS on, in stand by, unless the supply's own rear switch is turned off.<br><br>Supplies don't "kick in".  Supply fans DO speed up when working harder and getting hotter as a result.<br><br>If you are using a cheap, noname brand supply, IT could be another problem.<br><br>As far as your RAM coming loose on its own, that CANNOT happen without some action on your part IF you installed it CORRECTLY to start with.<br><br>NOTE:  ALWAYS always always unplug or turn off the rear switch on a power supply BEFORE plugging or unplugging things on a computer, unless you want to fry something.<br><br>ALSO:  ALWAYS always always tell people the make and model of ALL of your hardware when asking for help, or people may tend to be very annoyed with you, it gets very old having to tell people this over and over and over, please understand, and spread the word!<br><br>Good luck to you and glad you seem to have resolved your issue!<br><small>--<br>Join Teams Helix and Discovery. Try updating your drivers and running Windows Update. If the problem persists, I'd suggest contacting your video card manufacturer's support line. <br><br>Edit: Ah, Yes -- memory "falling out" in a running system will definitely give you a frozen computer / black screen. Make sure it is all the way in and the edges click into place.]]></description>

My powersupply is only 400w and the video requires 430 or something like that but i never had a problem in the past. My last update for video drivers was this month. I turn off my comp then i turn it back on and after the windows logo its just a black screen with a cursor. I did a system restore 3 times and it works for 2 weeks then it just dies off again. First time it happened it said something like win32.exe file missing i dont recall excatly what it said. And yes....the plug is in...and somnambul33t i dont need your LIP. Its not a virus its a corrupt file idk why this happens, had the comp for 3 years and then it happens. I just use my c omp for WoW and surfing the net. No inapporiate vidoes. ]]></description>
