It is ~not~ available "everywhere". The most I can get from my local is 10Mbps:D/1Mbps:U and most of the time, even though I'm paying for it and that is the highest tier where I am, that cannot even be achieved with all sorts of tweaking and hacks even. And this is Southern California, not very far away from the megaopolis called "Los Angeles". Ever heard of it? :P
