Speedstream 5200 problems

Today while trying to negotiate my way around a NAT problem, I for some reason accidentally deleted everything out of the WAN interface. I have since used Hivolt's recommendation on what to include back into this section

»[Internet] Speedstream 4200 - Can't connect to PPPoE after FW ch

however this didn't solve my problem. Every time I try to login under the PPP setup, it takes me to the Setup for PPPoE 0/35 page which prompts for Username and password, when I put in what I "think" is the password, I get

"Login Failure: The local connection failed to negotiate PPPoE options. Please check your username and password."

Is this the same username that I use to sign into the Speedstream config.?

Re: Speedstream 5200 problems

admin/admin is the default Username/Password for the 5200 to gain access to the Web Based Interface.

PPPoE setup uses your actual Username supplied by your ISP (usually your email address - aka user@windstream.net ) and the Password that you choose when signing up (same as your email password usually).

Who is your ISP?

HiVolt See Profile's instructions are for Bell Canada/Sympatico users and that was posted in a completely different Forum.

No, you cannot turn off NAPT as that turns off the Routing inside so nothing hooked up to the 5200 can reach the Internet. With NAPT off, you will need to provide Public IPs to everything on the LAN.
