I changed the main router (it is also a dsl modem) to 192.168.2.1

And I changed the 8 port router to 192.168.1.1

(reason for the seperate networks is because I share this connection with a neighbor and we dont want to share/view computers)

You disable DHCP in the Router and you plug your DSL Modem into one of the Routers LAN ports. You can't use the WAN port as that is not a switch port. Then the other 7 ports are for your PCs and IP devices.

So far, I have hooked it up to my Westell 327 DSL Modem/router..It seems to work for a little while then it stops..I believe there is a conflict somewhere.. Ive only been able to make it work while plugged into 1 of the 8 ethernet jacks, but not when its plugged into the white LAN port
