[Equipment] Routing configration

I am able to access the NAS Drive on my home network, however unable to do so over the Internet. My current configuration is:

Cable Modem > TA D-Link 5102S > Belkin Wireless Router > NAS

Is it possible to change the configuration as follows and if so what changes would I have to make on the TA properties:

Cable Modem > Belkin Wireless Router > TA D-Link 5102S

Thanks in anticipation....any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

No reason you can't do it. You shouldn't have to change the ATA properties since you have cable service (DHCP to pull down automatic IP address ,etc). It's highly unlikely that you'll have service issues in this configuration. BUT, you may find it helpful to forward some ports to the ATA: 5060-5061,5621,10000-20000 (all UDP).
