Re: cannot connect after installing tomato firmware *finally* got this to work. i had to change the dhcp address of the router so as not to conflict with the modem.
also looked copied the mac addresses for LAN and WIRELESS from the stock buffalo firmware over tomato. i made both these modifications, restarted the router and voila! not sure if it was both of these factors in combination of either one that made the difference, but i'm not about to try to find out after spending a week on this. important thing is it's working now! |
