Re: Wireless Without Limits Conference Cruise

I went and it was outstanding. The contacts that I made were well worth the admission alone. On top of that, the venue was spectacular and most of the conference sessions were top notch.

Double Radius did a great job putting this together, I will definitely be attending next year again.

If you post that question in the general discussion and not here Iam sure you will get a reply. This link is not supposed to still be up, till we announce next year.

$219 for inside $270 for Oceanview. I think these prices are still available, but you will have to contact the travel agent to verify at the time of registration.

So what cabins go you get for $219? Inside or Oceanview?

The price pays for the cruise and the food. We have negotiated relationships with the Airlines to lower the pricing, and shuttle services are offered so you will not need to rent a car or worry about parking. The support we have gotten from the Cruise line, sponsors, and attendees has been amazing. We are confident this will be a great learning experience for all, and the extra time on board and off will be filled with fun and entertainment.

Typically when on a cruise your food is free. You have to pay for drinks, like soda or anything containing alcohol. But water and juice is also typically free.

So that $200 includes a room for all those nights? That is all it includes right? By the time you pay for food at their prices parking airfare and everything it'll be $1000 for a few days..

The remaining rooms from the new block will be turned back into the cruise line on the 12 of July.

Registration is over on that date. If you want to come to the show please book now, and don't wait.

If we sell out the current block before the 12th than registration will halt then.

We hope to see you there.

There have been talks but nothing to report as of yet.

We have booked over 150 cabins for this conference as of June 3rd. We did get more rooms when our initial block filled up. I will keep you posted as I hear more.

We have signed up for this event. I know they had to get another block of rooms because the first blocked filled up pretty fast. It was a good conference last year!

this isnt one of those deals that if we dont buy in, the ship anchors 3 miles out and your ticket expires is it?

The cost of the cruise is $209 and the conference is free. There is a port charge and tax that we could not do anything with, but we are trying to make this as cheap as possible and also as educational as possible. If we hosted this show in Dallas, Charlotte, or Orlando which were the top city choices, the travel would of been the same and the Hotel stay alone would have been more than the $209. DoubleRadius, along with the sponsors of the show are working together to make this cost effective for you even in these economic times.

Re: True cost?

I have been on quite a few cruises, and usually there is a $10 per day gratuities charge, however you can opt to tip each employee on your own and ask them to take off the gratuity from your bill, other than that there haven't been too many surprises on cruises for me, and even so, for the amount of service you can use (free room service 24hrs, etc) $50 for 5 days or $70 for 7 days isn't too much.

edit:
One more charge I just thought about was the parking at the terminal, depending on which one the ship leaves from expect to pay around $100 for parking.

One of the reasons I have not signed up for this is that $209 sounds too cheap for a cruise to the Bahamas. Are there additional charges or costs (other than travel to the place where the ship sails) not mentioned in the ad?
