said by CylonRed :W Kids of course should not be in bars at all but if all parents were good - we would have a lot less abuse. Problem is I guess near by garandparents (and they took 50 mi Train trips to do it), just don't exist any more.... I was never taken on a family vacation until I was at least 10-13 and could actually appeciate it vs just being PIA/shouldn't even be there... grandma baby sat,
And those I do I do VERY much... in the US VI as a 12 year old very much... before as worthless likely annoying human lugage... though carry on vs well behaved dog baggage issolated stowed. -- »haywardm.com (Hayward's Key West)

1 edit | Last time I posted a review I had to stop following my own thread thanks to someone who wanted to argue in the Auto forum.
But I will post a review when I can... |

| reply to Hayward I have no problems with kids on vacations - I did them the vacation was for the family and a lot of them were to grandparents but there are kid appropriate vacations and some not. There are also kid appropriate places to go within the vacation that kids need not go to. All depends on the vacation... |

Realized I had not updated this - we are in Myrtle Beach as of last Sunday - we had to change plans a little bit as my best man decided to get married the same day we did - but he did it this year So we celebrated our 10 with a wedding- nice, small and private wedding. Much nicer than the usual big weddings - they did not even dance.
We are at the Camelot by the Sea - 18th floor. Included a breakfast buffet at a local restaurant which is rather nice. Eat enough breakfast and I do not need lunch. Thankfully they have a parking garage - 10 floors but small and narrow for our Town and Country EX but we have managed. Been quiet at night and surprisingly enough - less people than we expected. We are not right downtown - we are not close to the amusement park that seems to be the haven for the teens and college kids. Driving around has been no problem - 5 pm it gets backed up but is clear in abut an hour.
Wife loves the place on the beach (posting from the balcony at nearly high tide. Wendi has made sure we have done all of the touristy things - parasailing, shopping (UGH!), walking, driving, helicopter ride (I am a flying junkie and it was great), both hot tubs, and we spent a lot of this evening in the water - high winds and big waves today. Very sore after this morning and the waves were larger in the evening.
We did get free tickets to MidEvil Times (I had been, she had not) and cheaper tickets to Ripley's stuff by going to our first and last timeshare pitch - I knew what to expect and Wendi knew the basics. They were unsuccessful and we scored the free tickets that saved us roughly $104. While at MidEvil times - another hotel offered us $75 for a timeshare pitch - we passed. Now Wendi knows ALL about the hazards of timeshares. -- Brian
