You should know you have actually 3 ways to sign up when FiOS is available; Verizon store, online and Authorized agent (which I am). I hope you get FiOS this summer and not in 2010 or 2014 as stated above. I too am waiting until summer they have installed and available all around me just not in my development.
My best friend works for Verizon doing site planning here in NJ for FiOS and apparently it takes a couple of months after it is installed to close the neighboring loop prior to you getting it. |

4 edits | Richmond Hill CO is seeing FIOS by Margaret Place and Union Turnpike? Any confirmation? I think its FIOS in all likelyhood.
That leaves Forest Hills Central Office next.

They gave a specific address, and its all residential there. The manhole was marked up and I think it could be for FIOS since they are running new conduit. Its Margaret Place between Woodhaven and Union Turnpike.
I guess we will see by July what else is done. I don't expect much for this year unless your area is in deployment.
If we even see FIOS deployment in Forest Hills in late 2009 or early 2010 I would be really pleasantly surprised. But somehow I doubt it will happen. |

Queens Village is working on the site. I just checked a friends address and I was able to choose options.
On a Flushing note...I keep seeing this Verizon truck on Main Street.

Soon enough after Flushing is done, we could be next considering the close proximity.
Anyone know which CO's for Verizon have FIOS now in Queens?
Only a few COs out in Queens I assume still don't have FIOS being worked on yet with Forest Hills being one of them.
My own gutt tells me FIOS to Forest Hills will be started after Flushing gets done. |

| There is a permit which is very intriguing in my area which could be a small possibility of Forest Hills FIOS Deployment here in Queens.
Flushing was said to be done by August right or sometime this year? I hope this permit turns out to be the start of FIOS here. Will know more I guess come July. |

My CO is NYCQNYFH. One permit is on the suspect list as to possible FIOS, but there is no sign that it is just yet. Haven't positively ID'ed it yet.
Will come soon enough to all of NYC. |

NYCQNYFH is right by where I live. As far as FIOS here, we will see what happens late this year. My CO is not served by the Flushing CO although I do get occasional mail addressed to Flushing instead of Forest Hills. |
