Filtering by MAC address is NOT secure as it is relatively easy to spoof MAC addresses. Ideally you want to run WPA + AES with a strong key. You might be able to telnet into the router and add multiple MAC addresses that way.

If the replacement router the same as your previous router?

It was the same excact model.
I'll look into telnet'ing the macs....Thank you.
And i really don't think my student are able to spoof mac-adresses

Are you saying there's a difference in the electronics of that one model?
