Down in Chicago?

Anybody know anything about an outage in the Chicago area?

Everything dead starting this morning. Rebooted the router, seems to be pulling a WAN IP, but can't ping the WAN gateway or DNS Servers.

Re: Down in Chicago?

There is an issue in Chicago, I can't really tell you anything more then that. I would suggest contacting your ISP.

Re: Down in Chicago?

Thanks for confirming it's not just me.

I am not able to check my line from home, I am outof the country. I am unable to access my home systems. Do you know if this is back up now? If it is, does the modem have to be rebooted to work again?

Also, how did you get that notification? Was it email or website. I will like to get them or a place to find the outages. The Convad site is hard to find this stuff.

Re: Down in Chicago?

The outage has been restored. The notice above was a notice which is sent to Covad Partners, and probably should not have been posted publicly.

Re: Down in Chicago?

Anyone know of a covad site that shows current status and known outages?
