hottboiinnc posted : of course they want you to spend more money than what you want. that's every business. LoL. I always place an "order" to find out what is required total. I did with them and found out basic phone service was fine. Got curious even more when you posted the bundles so i called. I not only got someone right away, but he also knew what he was talking about and was more than willing to give me the information i wanted.

hottboiinnc posted : i never said anything about "bundling" i said order each seperate.

It allowed me to place an order for $5 per month phone service and the 12megs internet. It didn't say anything about having to bundle anything. You keep looking at the bundles. Not everyone bundles.

I just called Windstream they said you do NOT have to have any bundled plan. The simple basic phone line would be fine. It ranges from $5-12.10 depending on the region. Ohio its $12.10 for the basic line- no features or long distance plans. and then the price of the Internet. Then the taxes.

Before taxes and fees for the 12meg in Ohio is only $43 (change rounded up.)
