Well it's strange. The Aussies are pretty passionate about their lifestyle and freedoms--- yet they tend to always want to do the "right" thing. Problem is, power corrupts. The more power the Government has to do things "RIGHT" without checks and balances seems to quickly lead to them doing things "wrong.". It's like people aren't happy unless they are using wielding their power. Just sitting on it doesn't seem to work.
