@cox.net		help with sb5120 surfboard

I was trying to turn ON my DHCP's. when it was set up, it was turned off. my xbox has the internet connection but its not recieving the dhcp. i looked up the settings for it onmy comp. and it said that it was off. how can i change that?

 Your cable modem is rarely involved in DHCP, your router can hand out DHCP for about 250 devices, your ISP can hand out DHCP for one device. (Rarely, some ISPs hand out for 3 devices, but it is still a bad idea)

If you are trying to hand out 2 addresses with just a modem, you need a small router.
