What is your thoughts

i just found this web site. it talks about overclocking the processor on a new laptop i recently purchased. dell mentions it on their web site as well. supposedly this laptop is built just for this. what do ya'll think, good idea or bad isea??? also what is the deal about laptops only recognizing 4gigs of ram. is that true????? anyone???? here is the link on the review:

Seeing as this probably isn't going to see much of its usage running on batter power, I don't see why not.
Yeah, 4 gigs is generally true. Not too many people have the need to throw 8 gigs into a laptop.
You may want to look into a laptop cooler to keep the noise down if you're going to overclock, though. Something with 120 mm fans.

i have 2 different laptop coolers already. i keep 1 just incase 1 goes out. and i used it on my old laptop. it got hot. and you cant use a laptop in bed unless you have something to sit it on. tanks for the info on overclocking. i am going to try it out at 3.0 then 3.2 and 3.4. but like a friend told me. even most of the top games don't require that high a processor at max settings. thanks for the info.
