This firmware is refered to by zyxel support. This firmware made portforwarding work om my router. Portforwarding apparently did not work with the out-of-the-box firmware (dated something like 03/2008). It also fixed some logon issues and improved the performance of the webgui.
Portforwarding: The common way is giving the lan pc that you want to forward traffic to, a static ip. The router ip needs not to be static. Remember to also open the router firewall for traffic to the correct port/port range by configuring a firewall rule, see

Its not Telenor that creates the firmwares, that is ZyXEL.

What kind of connections are you guys using the device with?

I got mine connected to a cable modem with a 24/3 connection and doing iperf tests I get 90 mbps throughput with the device, but that is with a wired connection and not wireless.

I got the same router, but not using the DSL interface just the Ethernet and have noe problems with downloads.

Ive had problems with losing signal to the dsl line. And then i have to do a restart of the device. Usually does it once a day. Had no problems with that earlier. So i changed router. Didn't lose signal. At all.
