Hey y'all this is going to be my first trip passed Vail and cant wait to see what the other side has to offer. I am off to ceder city for a few days i wish i had some time to MTbike in fruita but there is always next time,, I will post some pic's as i am there .
You can't take enough pictures on that trip! Are you sure you can't take your bike?
See if you can visit Arches National Park in Moab on the way. The San Rafael Swell just after Green River is stunning. Don't forget to visit Zion National Park when you get to Cedar City.

reply to MTBikerChris zion is great, but if you are in cedar city, hit cedar breaks and then swing down to bryce. zion is only a quick jaunt away. amazing scenery. spent many a week backpacking/traveling in that area. amazes me every time.
Thanks for all the great Tips but this was a trip for my wife to see her mom here in Ceder City.If this is what it takes to stay in CO Vs Moving back to Houston i am all for it. The 9 hr drive is not that bad.
