Port Orchard, WA | DNS problems in Port Orchard Anybody else having DNS problems in Port Orchard? Things seem to be REALLY slow tonight, and I'm getting alot of Site Not found messages. |

kudos:6 | I've got my backup dns server set as 4.2.2.2 so I typicially don't get the problems. I recommend you do the same. |

Concord, CA | I have been using OpenDNS for several years, it's free. I've had less problems and the long pause I was having before web pages started to load disappeared using OpenDNS. I complained to Wave in the past regarding slow DNS servers, Wave support person didn't seem to care.
Before switching to OpenDNS I did use Waves DNS server as it seemed much faster than the Astound/Wave server for this area.
It's been awhile since I have tried Astound/Wave DNS servers, hopefully things have improved. |
