They're disconnecting each subscriber's cable from the cable box on the road or wherever it's located, which is public property or otherwise legally accessible by the cable company. They're not going up to each house and disconnecting the cable. |

| Actually even there I'm sure they have attempted murder laws, especially since UTILITY EASEMENTS give them access rights to their equipment, even on your property. That's why it's an EASEMENT, to circumvent trespassing issues.

You REALLY think that Texas' property protections laws are going to protect in court when you allege that you'd attempt to shoot at a utility worker that has every legal right to be on the easement, AND on your property at the dmarc to service their own equipment?
Are you just trying to be silly here or what?
The ends to all of this is simple.. do it, and you'd not have to worry about being over charged for your cable TV any more.. or phone, cell phone, power, water, credit card fees, taxes.. etc. It's all provided for you in your life sentence in prison there bud.  |

No, if you have a utility, they often have some rights to come maintain it -- not trespass, most likely (laws and regs and contracts differ according to area). |

That's why I have 6 LARGE dogs. I have a telephone box in my backyard as well(in my fence at the rear of the property line). My male dogs territorially mark that thing religiously.  Workers always knock at my house!!

Workers always knock at my house!! ITS NOT DIFFERENT THAN SENDING YOUR KIDS OUT TO DESTROY THE BOX, should conrtol your pets more because if they ruin the equipment you can be billed for the repairs!
