[Wireless] Tomato firmware on buffalo - wireless issue »

[General] Link WHR-G54S and WBMR-G54

I have these two routers - the WHR-G54S and the WBMR-G54

Both work fine on their own but I want to keep the ISP connectivity of the WBMR whilst using the WHR to extend the network and if possible utilise its AOSS functionality for the children's DS's and Wii.

I'm at my wits end and can't see a way forward, so two questions I guess:

1. As they are with stock firmware how can I use the WHR to extend the network - what magic words / combination of settings am I looking for?

2. If that is impossible - which Buffalo have said it is - then would using say Tomato ver x on the WHR (as the WBMR isn't flashable AIUI) allow me to extend my network? Would be nice if the "upgrade" still supports the AOSS functionality as well but willing to lose that in favour of just extending.

Thanks in advance.
