HSDPA vs. 3G vs. WiFi?

I hope there is more than HSDPA to the new version. I have decent 3G in my area and I can't tell the difference usually between 3G and WiFi. And my iPhone WiFi speed test shows 9Mbps vs 3G at 600Kbps.

Agreed. I suspect the iPhone will have to have a significantly faster processor (which rumors say it will) in order for it to take advantage of the faster network speeds available to it.

the current iphone 3g supports HSDPA. It's just 3.6mbps HSDPA instead of 7.2mbps HSDPA. Anything above the basic 384kbps UMTS is HSDPA...

I'm still curious of whether this phone will support faster HSUPA tho...
