Re: Chattanooga ...and what kinda crack have you been smokin? Chattanooga is one of the biggest success stories as far as bringing the downtown area back, increasing tourism, etc. I dont live there anymore, but I can tell you its like night and day since I left. This is great for the city...cant wait to visit my parents when they get it! |

That's the problem. It's a tourist town now. We have the VW plant coming now but the other day there was news that we will exceed our carbon foot print so we won't be able to grab any more large manufacturing businesses. It's still unknown what exactly we have spent to get VW to come to Chattanooga.
In the last few years several members of the city council have gone to jail. The last sheriff is in jail. If Chattanooga could only lose the good ol' boy network and little town mentality it would really flourish. |
