| reply to buddhabadboy Re: rogers rocket stick: selling as new, but refurbished!
ohhhhh an insult to my career? eh doesn't bother me. Well hmmm let me see a store that says "rogers" is.... hmmm let me see, ROGERS. no its not a 3RD PARTY rogers store. Its a ROGERS store. Where'd you get the idea I said 3RD PARTY? look who's smart now eh boink9999, guess YOUR logic is a bit faulty..
hmmm boink, cause you think with the lower head?
and with regards to "registering on the network" to test to see if it works? bunch of BS. The system is designed and tested already at the manufacture. And, i was told that the model I had was purchased and sent back by someone else. |

| hmmm its not about paying $0 or not. I am put into a contract for a year. If i wish not to use the service within this year: I still have to pay. So there is still value for this product. and anyways, who wants something used?
there is a law here in canada to protect the consumer. its simple: if something has been used ONCE, it is considered USED. I'm paying for a NEW, not a USED stick. |

| Agreed. but it is the service that you are paying for not the modem. Rogers cannot afford to discard any RS that has been used and returned simply because it does not receive the necessary coverage for adequate performance in the users area. They have no way to mark the product cost down any further because they are already giving it to you for nothing and nor should they. There is no doubt in my mind that the RS is checked for damage or in-perfections before it is reissued. So what do you suggest? how do we keep our liege king buddhabadboy the selfish happy? |

| reply to buddhabadboy FYI: there are very few rogers rogers wireless stores that aren't 3rd party stores, so regardless of the name there, you didn't get it directly from rogers.
Secondly, the point wasn't WHERE you got it, so much as it was the ignorant fact that you assumed since this happened to you once that this is somehow a company wide conspiracy that MR. Burns is in the corner snickering about.
should you have gotten a refurbished/used one? no. do mistakes happen? yes. does it mean they are all out to get you? possibly, but I seriously doubt it this case.
better to think with the lower head than none at all... |

| ahhh hi there boink! haven't seen you comment for awhile. hmmmm let me see if i can answer your questions
#1 didn't think it was a conspiracy #2 but you may be right about the rogers stores doing the "evil deed" #3 and ummm ted died... remember? now its just money sucking corporate ceo's.... LOL #4 and ummm no, i don't take this personally. just want what's rightfully mine: I paid for it.
and with regards to the last statement. hmmmm i'd rather be silent then use the lower head.
anyhow. hope that clarifies things.. and btw, i find your disposition quite interesting... |
