Also, if you're using a Linksys WRT54G ver 5 or later, that's your problem. This version does not support GRE packets. If you have a version 1 - 4, you could put 3rd party firmware on it.

Make sure you have the westell bridged first before you do anything else because the Linksys is going to need to terminate the connection via PPPoE is you want to use it with the Westell...

These are not fios dns servers but they should tell you if that's the problem.
