3 edits | Mojo Needed My father stays with me, he is 71, recently he started going downhill mentally. I thought it might have been the onset of Alzheimer's or something, this only started about 4 weeks ago.
Because he was bleeding when he went to the bathroom I took him to the ICU two weeks ago. They did several tests and then a colonoscopy and found a mass the size of a large orange. After further searching they found cancer cells in his spinal fluid. I told the cancer doctor about his mental quirks and he ordered a cat scan of the brain. The cat scans find nothing, they need to do a MRI of everything but cannot because he has a defibrillator implant. We went and did the pet scan today, will get the results tomorrow I guess. He starts Chemo and radiation Friday. I will keep you all updated Mike
