| Re: Trunk Amp wow... magnavox..... now there's a name that fell off the earth about 8 years ago.... i'm amazed they're still in business... especially with how ghetto that box is --- looks like it was purchased off of ebay in the "vintage tv equipment" category....
wonder if they still have an extended warranty or active support contract

After Magnavox (which made gear up to 750 MHz), Phillips took over and made gear up to 860 MHz for a period of time, and some 1 GHz.
Then C-Cor bought them.

1 edit | Like others have said, wow! I've seen some old equipment, but 450Mhz plant...

Did I say wow yet?
edit - Just noticed that the power supply for that amp was serviced in 2006. I'm surprised anyone would still mess with that equipment. Of course I know a few telcos who still run on old analog phone switches, so the fact that someone still services that amp shouldn't surprise me. -- "This is a bus. You know how big a bus is?"
