Re: [Fiber Pics] Cable TV/Fiber Optic ISP When I first signed up for FIOS the TV was not available. The service tech was going to tap into my existing coax network, which at the time provided Comcast TV service. He said that the FIOS internet runs at a higher frequency and would not interfere with the Comcast TV (I have no idea if that is true). He changed his mind when he saw I had a drop amp connected to the coax network. He said the drop amp would interfere with the FIOS signal so he ran cat5e from the ONT to the router. |
