I'm averaging about 250-300 but I'm curious what everyone else gets just to see about what the average is for WoW. |

I'm east coast, on a west coast server, using FIOS. I have no idea what it would be on an east coast server.
I don't really notice lag though. |

I'm on a 20mb cable modem myself. A friend is trying to tell me 200+ ms is high latency for WoW. I've been laughing all morning thinking about that.
Question for you guys:
If you have say 200ms and you do something that procs something else. By the time you see the proc is 200ms all ready ticked off the proc? Say it's a 2 second proc when you see the proc icon does it have 1.8 seconds left becuase of the 200ms lag? |

Guess I should ask people to say server location and your location as well. Naturally someone playing EST on an EST server will be better then EST playing on a PST server. I'm on CST server playing from EST. |

Mine is usually between 150-250. Sometimes will be under 100 but that is usually only on off peak times.

Average 1200ms to 1500ms with random spikes depending on weather.I have seen it once go up to 6000ms,but it did not stay there.
I am on Durotan,not sure if it is East Coast,West Coast or what.

I think I might have a slight advantage since Blizzard uses AT&T's backbone or whatever you call it to provide access.

Discovered why my ping sucks so bad.. Im in EST, but in all reality, I should be CST, and my server is in LA.
I average around 170-200ms, though Tuesday right after the restart, I was sitting around 70ms until the server got busy again.

Playing on an Oceanic server and currently located in the middle east :P
There are very few times the latency really feels that high though... |
