 9.0 VR - view attachment without saving?

AOL 9.0 VR - Mail.. My boss uses this abomination even though I set-up an Exchange server. Anyway, he cannot view an attachment unless he saves it first. Is there anyway to view an attachment first THEN decide if it should be saved? Please tell me this program isn't THAT bad...
