Bethlehem, PA | $18 CD? I've seen the argument of "I don't wanna buy an $18-$20 CD for 1 or 2 songs"
Just throwing this out there: Every Sunday when I look through the Best Buy circular, I see their CDs are around $7-$9 and new releases are like $12.
Just sayin.
I haven't bought a CD since Static-X - Shadow Zone

Bethlehem, PA | Well, I'm reading that it was $8.98, but was originally going to be $9.98. Now (yes, showing my youth and ignorance  I'm guessing that was very pricey back in 1981.
...though I'm not sure how it's applicable to what I said concerning CD prices now.
Unless you were just throwing it out there.

kudos:18 | Yes, CD were supposed to become cheaper than Albums and as time has shown us, the Labels didn't keep their promises to Tom Petty and the HBs or to the consumers (that is you and me) of $5.00 dollar CDs instead of $8.00 to $9.00 dollar Albums.
