Re: Stupid Resellers said by belawrence:I get as many of these calls from DirecTV dealers, too. DirecTV paid $11 million about two years ago for a similar offense. I'm not certain that either company intentionally violates DNC, they just may be incompetent in keeping their database current, and the government may be looking to make an example of them.
Personally, I miss the outbound teleslime calls from Bombay for Dish. I used to get them daily, and every rep had a really hard time explaining to me that they were not trying to sell me a new China set, which apparently didn't include a Ginsu knife, both of which "the Mrs."  needed to approve. |
