Siemens Speedstream 4200 MTU Question

I have everything accomplished tweaking my connection using the info from the tweak test except it is telling me to set MTU to 1500. I used Dr. TCP but it is still the same. I run from the service box to a Linksys hub, from there to my network adapter. Help me out please.

Who is your ISP? Are you using PPPoE?

Yep, you sure do as PPPoE uses 1492 as the MTU. I don't know about PPPoA.

Well, that's the reason you come here to ask questions like this. Some of us know a few things. Not many, but a few. That's one of the few for me.
