I've heard of that , but I'm not sure what that is. Are you asking if I did that prior to installing the new Buffalo Firmware? I recall seeing that as an issue when going back to Buffalo. At first I couldn't get in, but I hit the reset button for 20 seconds and then I could get in.

After update to Tomato. You should dump nvram, restart and then setup to run they way you want. There are setting for the external buttons that might not have been assigned properly.

Returns you to default settings, but does not clear nvram.
