Apple is selling the Iphone for $599 without subsidy and the Itouch for $229. The $599 seems way out of line.
Especially when you consider the fact that the iPod touch is pretty much exactly the same thing as the iPhone, minus cellphone capabilities.
It is intentionally out of line though: to discourage people from buying them, so that cell phone carriers keep making big bucks selling people expensive contracts. Ah yes, the power of large corporations... |
