It would be done in software so if the machine's processor were fast enough and Echostar doesn't hold some patent barring D* from doing this it should be possible.
ya well I'm sticking with directv so I hope that tthere's a way
Just run a stand alone Slingbox or Slingbox Pro, then you will still have all the features of the regular Directv box and you don't have to wait.
I'm not interested enough to add another deviceif they add it great if not oh well
