| SMC Modem connect
I have had this SMC modem suplied to me by my cable company. I have it connected to a router and run 8 computers. I have never had a problem but for the last two months evey time I click the internet icon I get this: "searching for site",then some IP. so I shut down the search and try about 5 more times then the internet comes up.
My provider says that it is because of my router. So I plugged one computer into the SMC by itself, renewed the IP and now it happens about every three times I try to open the brouser.
Any ideas on whats going on with this problem?
