Re: True Two Way?Yes it does support Tru2Way, plus:
The SlingLoaded T2200S also provides the following features:
-- Supports MPEG-2, H.264 (MPEG-4) and VC1. -- 1GHz tuners to support expanded network bandwidth. -- Connect to the home network via Ethernet, WiFi (with optional WiFi adapter) or Multimedia over Coax Alliance (MoCA(TM: 63.44, n.a., n.a.%)). -- Picture-in-Picture -- Supports advanced resolution formats up to 1080p24. -- Individual branding opportunities for MSOs. -- Supports Macrovision and DCS analog copy protection. -- Features an attractive, capacitive-touch, backlit front panel with clock display.
With all that going for it you can bet the MSOs won't want anything to do with it. :p |

All Broadcom BCM7410 (and newer) based STB's will have this functionality. |

Don't expect to see the BCM7410 or BCM7420 in any product this year. Those chips will be Broadcom's first 45nm solutions and they won't be in mass production for some time yet.
Broadcom's latest shipping DVR SoCs are the BCM7400 and BCM7405. Those are the SoCs you can expect to see in most new OCAP DVR products shipping in the next six months.
The Dish Network ViP922 and Echostar T2200S are both based on the BCM7400. A separate IC will be used for MoCA. |
