The "white" version is not infrared and costs around $200.  All of the models are wireless and work very well.  I picked one up last week and ordered another with an external enclosure.<br><br>I may soon purchase a dome camera for the front exterior of my house.  I'm currently looking at models from Mobotix and Axis.<br><br>I also recommend Blue Iris.  It's powerful, easy-to-use and supports many cameras.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/1349487"><b>Jahntassa</b></A> : Newegg reports the Linksys as being discontinued..I haven't used either of those particular cameras but the one 'fixed' Linksys camera I used wasn't so hot.<br><br>Personally i'm more familiar with Panasonic IP cameras and only the WV-NS202 was annoying to me. And that was only because the built-in webserver was mostly ActiveX and hard to use remotely.<br><br>However most of the Panasonic IP cams are great. I'd highly recommend them. BestBuy sometimes carries a wired model for $199 and wireless for $299.<br><br>I've also had others state they were satisfied with TrendNet cameras.<br><br>Also, I pair my cameras with software called BlueIris (&raquo;<A HREF="http://www.blueirissoftware.com" >www.blueirissoftware.com</A>). I allow it to do any recording / motion triggering and the support for it is fantastic.]]></description>

So far searching the web I find good reviews on sites and bad reviews on sites. These cameras can also be wired as well.  <br><br>The two cameras I am looking at are. <br><br>&#8226; Dlink DCS-5300G<br>&#8226; Linksys WVC200 Wireless PTZ internet camera w/ audio. <br><br>thoughts? have you used one?
