Newegg reports the Linksys as being discontinued..I haven't used either of those particular cameras but the one 'fixed' Linksys camera I used wasn't so hot.

Personally i'm more familiar with Panasonic IP cameras and only the WV-NS202 was annoying to me. And that was only because the built-in webserver was mostly ActiveX and hard to use remotely.

However most of the Panasonic IP cams are great. I'd highly recommend them. BestBuy sometimes carries a wired model for $199 and wireless for $299.

I've also had others state they were satisfied with TrendNet cameras.

Also, I pair my cameras with software called BlueIris (»www.blueirissoftware.com). I allow it to do any recording / motion triggering and the support for it is fantastic.
