Re: Why does Cox bother? One of the main reason that some of the muni-broadband has failed is that the big companies massively drop their rates (well below those same company's national rates). This is done to make sure those muni-broadband systems fail. It is very similiar to what Walmart does when it moves into a market, drop prices(short term loss) to put competition out of business then bring prices back to normal (long term profits). |
