Don't expect to see the BCM7410 or BCM7420 in any product this year. Those chips will be Broadcom's first 45nm solutions and they won't be in mass production for some time yet.
Broadcom's latest shipping DVR SoCs are the BCM7400 and BCM7405. Those are the SoCs you can expect to see in most new OCAP DVR products shipping in the next six months.
The Dish Network ViP922 and Echostar T2200S are both based on the BCM7400. A separate IC will be used for MoCA. |
