No production modems with more than 4 tuners so capped to 152Mbps in North America at the moment.

What could you possibly do with 340Mbps at this point in time? I've got 400Mbps at my disposal and it takes work to really suck more than about 60 to 80Mbps at a time.

Video and Online backups.

I have 200Mbps at the office and I use it.

You forgot about the Linksys WCM300. It is available and uses eight channels (down). It is also $340.

I'm sure that BUSINESSES can make use of +100Mbps, even some casual users as well can use it. Streaming HD, downloading/backing up systems, etc.

'Average' user won't make use of it.
I do wonder how may people will pay more than double their current bill for a paltry 10% increase for the first few seconds of speed ? Also, would it be noticed ?
