DSL Link Retrains |
Heya, folks.
I've been having an issue with U-Verse every evening since at least Sunday, starting at about 7 to 8 pm and ending at about 7 am.
I am a new U-Verse customer and have only had the service since it was set up on Mar. 4th, but have not had any connection issues until now.
Techs have been called and everything is fine in my home. I have everything hardwired and wireless is disabled. Their tests show a lot of noise and interference on the line to "the box". Line tech looked at it on Tuesday and told us that we're close to the 3000 ft. limit, if not a bit over.
I just find it odd that we have no issues at all until the evening, and it starts working fine again at about 7:00 in the morning.
I restarted my gateway yesterday morning at 6:50 and the Link Statistics page showed 5 DSL Link Retrains before it came back up at about 7:00. I checked it again when I got home around 6 pm and it only showed a total of 6 DSL Link Retrains. Then about 8:30-ish the problems started happening again.
When I checked the Link Statistics page this morning after the gateway had been up for 24 hours, it showed 225 DSL Link Retrains.
What can I do to get this resolved, and keep connections throughout the night?
