Tracking bandwidth?

With RoadRunner rolling out more bandwidth caps in areas nearby, I want to start tracking my bandwidth for my entire network. It consists of my desktop (XP), laptop (XP), Slackware linux machine, PS3, 360, Wii and some small things (DS, PSP, PDA etc).

I know of software that can track bandwidth on a single computer, but I need something that can show me bandwidth for the entire network per device.

So I assume this is something on the router level. I have a Netgear WGR614v7. I probably have to get some custom firmware or something?

I've heard of DDWRT/Tomato but I've never dealt with custom firmware before.

What are my options?

If a third party firmware is available for that model that's probably all you'll find that has the ability to log the amount of data on the WAN interface. I use PRTG Traffic Grapher on my Cisco which works very well. Maybe worth trying on the Netgear but it's likely SNMP isn't supported.
