| Lafayette Parish - Not just select areas in the city I think too many people see "Lafayette" and simply think of "Lafayette" and thus compare this with the fiber alternative.
Cox's new service is parish (county) wide. It reaches way more then just the city limits of Lafayette. It reaches all the surrounding communities which are the fast growing communities as well.
The LUS FTTH is only just getting off the ground and is only available to a few select pockets of areas in the city only. Most in the city itself have another year or two before they will have the option. As for those in the surrounding areas they may not ever get the option. |
